Michał Ciecierski, PhD

In the Law Firm he provides services for entrepreneurs and individuals, as well as he represents clients in court proceedings and before administrative bodies, including tax administration.

He has been associated with the Law Firm since 2006. He has been included in the list of legal advisors since 2009.

In 2023, he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole and now he is PhD.

He completed his legal and administrative studies at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław, where he obtained a master's degree in law and a master's degree in administration with management specialization.

After university graduation, he worked in the Treasury Chamber in Opole and in the Local Board of Appeal in Opole.

He conducted classes in the field of tax law, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Opole, at the Association of Accountants in Poland Branch in Opole, at the Academy of Leona Koźmiński in Warsaw, as well as for legal advisors’ trainees and legal advisors at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Opole.

Since 2020, he has been a member of the Council of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Opole, and this function he performs pro bono.

He has published, as an author and co-author, several dozen scientific and popular science articles in the "Rzeczpospolita" daily, "Przegląd Podatkowy", "Monitor Podatkowy", "Glosa", " Radca Prawny", " Samorząd Terytorialny".

He is co-editor of a book “Wybrane Problemy Prawa Finansowego w Polsce” (2009), a co-author of a book “Komentarz do ustawy o kontroli skarbowej” (2011, 2014) and either a co-author of a book „Ordynacja podatkowa – Wzory pism z komentarzem” (2015, 2017, 2020), and commentary book on the Act on the National Tax Administration (2018, 2024), of Wolters Kluwer Polska.

Karol Jokiel

PARTNER

Karol Jokiel obtained the master’s degree in law at the Department of Law and Administration of University of Silesia. He graduated with honors.

Since 2006 he provides the legal services for the Clients of our Firm and since 2010 he is the legal counsel affiliated in District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Opole. In our Firm he operates the entrepreneurs (from the Opole region, Silesia voivodeship and the Minor Poland), research institute and the municipal cultural institution. He specializes in civil and commercial law, however he is also gained a considerable experience in public procurement law by representing the Clients in court litigations and also before the National Chamber of Appeal in Warsaw.

Karol Jokiel supports the Clients in the pre-trial and judicial collection of the debts (arising from the commercial or construction businesses), cooperating with the bailiffs from the neighbouring viovodeships. In his practice he often corrects the errors and consequences of negligence of debt collection firms, also in the context of protecting the Clients against the unjustified claims. Recently he consulted and represented the contracting authority before the National Chamber of Appeal in successful proceeding for granting multi-million public order for the supply and installation of highly specialized multimedia museum display in Opole region.

He is an author of numerous articles concerning the law and business law (available in Internet) and e-books: “The division of the common property of the spouses”, “Entrepreneur in the face of crisis”, “The methods of securing the debts with the examples of contracts and writings”.

Michał Kałuża

Michał Kałuża graduated in law at the Department of Law and Administration of Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Joined to the Firm in 2007 and was dealing primarily with the provision of legal services for entrepreneurs and broadly defined business transactions and labour law.

In his practice he provided complex legal services for the entrepreneur from the production sector, including the industry of: food, packing, cosmetics, construction materials, construction, commerce (also e-commerce), services, new technologies and banking. His wide knowledge and experience covers in particular the civil law and especially the obligations law, intellectual property law (copyrights and industrial property law), commercial law, constructional law or mentioned labour law. He considers that extremely important in his work is a practical knowledge of civil law and procedure as a basic tool of every lawyer.

In previous practice, Michał Kałuża was focused on, in particular:

- advising on the obligations law, including preparing of contracts for domestic and international transactions, and either the constructing of agreements, writings, statements connected with the performance of contractual obligations or their unduly performance,

- complex legal services concerning the construction and installation works, including performed on the basis of FIDIC rules,

- advising on companies law, including the provision of services for organs of legal persons (among others: legal assistance during the meetings of board of directors, or general meetings with the preparation of appropriate documents), conducting corporate litigations, participation in transformation of companies, drafting contracts, statutes and other documents concerning the corporate governance,

- consulting the performance, transfer and protection of laws of intangible assets, including the preparation of licensing agreements or contracts transferring the intangible assets protected by copyrights and also industrial property law,

- providing services in the area of labour law, especially the drafting of documentation (agreements, work and wage regulations, regulations of companies’ social benefit funds etc.),

Dawid Zenke

PARTNER

Graduated in law at Department of Law and Administration of University of Opole with master thesis titled The Sporting Exception in European Union Law. Joined the Firm in 2011. Deals with the lawsuits and civil executive proceedings. Represents parties at court hearings and also prepares pleading. He advised among others in: creating procedures securing the claims of the seller of constructional products and allowing to successfully complete the civil judicial and executive proceedings. Represents entrepreneurs from the construction industry in litigations and negotiations with investors and subcontractors. Dawid Zenke drafted the commercial contracts for manufacturers of carpentry and the entrepreneurs from the branch of production of raw materials or contracts concerning the construction works for general contractors and subcontractors. He is interested in issues of civil contracts and sporting law. During the studies he stayed for one semester at the European University of Cyprus on student’s exchange program Erasmus, and also provided pro bono services in Student Socio-Legal Clinic “Bona Fides”. He was a football referee.

Cyprian Gottfried

Legal counsel Cyprian Gottfried entered the register of legal counsels run by regional council of legal counsels in Opole in 2018. He graduated law course in Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of University of Wrocław in year 2013. Before the cooperation with Kubik, Stańdo, Wyszatkiewicz i Partnerzy Kancelaria Radców Prawnych Jurysta he worked in one of Wroclaw’s companies claiming damages. With the law office he is bounded since 2015. Above all he is interested in legal service of entrepreneurs and trade in its wider sense as well as cases from property and life insurances. He represents the parties on court hearings (before common courts and administrative courts) and draws up procedural documents, including appeal documents. He conducts settlement negotiations on pre-court stage as well as during court proceedings.

He supports clients of the office in pre-court and court vindication of their liabilities (particularly from commercial activities and builder activities), cooperating in this filed with enforcement official from Opole voivodship and neighbouring voivodships. Also assists entrepreneurs in reclaiming their liabilities from foreign entities in European order for payment procedure. He represents victims of injuries before financial ombudsman in court of conciliation. He took part in creation and restructuring of capital companies of polish law. He was the defender in petty crimes against order and safety in traffic. He led local authority body to carry out a renovation of local road in Opole voivodship.

Also provided comprehensive legal services to a local governments cultural institution, including public procurement.

Experienced in cases related to the construction and commissioning of a wind power plant.

Małgorzata Kubik

Provides legal services to business entities in scope of civil and commercial law, in particular in the field of contract law, commercial companies and intellectual property.

In 2016 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and in 2020 she obtained license to practice as an attorney-at-law. In 2020 she also completed Postgraduate Studies on the Law of Intellectual Property, organised by the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.

In 2017 she won first prize in the competition for the best master thesis on commercial law, organised by the Commercial Law Review and Wolters Kluwer Poland.

Prior to joining the team she gained experience at the university law clinic, in Polish offices of international law firms, as well as in Polish law firms.

Szymon Szlązak

In 2017, he graduated at the Department of Law and Administration of the University of Opole, defending his master's thesis on a developer agreement. He received a scholarship from the Rector of the University of Opole for outstanding academic results. During his studies, he put great emphasis on learning the practical side of the law. He has participated in numerous civil and economic law courses. He gained his experience from the very beginning of his studies, doing internships in a law firm and at the District Prosecutor's Office in Opole, where he expanded his knowledge of civil, administrative and criminal law. He obtained one of the highest results in the country in the entrance exam for the legal counsel apprenticeship. In 2021, he has been entered into the register of attorneys-at-law by Opole Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. In 2022 he also completed postgraduate studies on contract law in consumer and professional trade at the Jagiellonian University.

He has been associated with the Law Firm since 2017, his main responsibilities include supporting partners in providing services to the Law Firm's Clients, including primarily business entities from the Opole region, Małopolska and the Silesian Voivodeship. He represents the Law Firm's clients before courts, law enforcement authorities, state authorities and local government authorities. He prepares pre-trial and procedural writings, including lawsuits and appeals, legal opinions and contracts for the Law Firm's clients. He supports the Law Firm's clients in pre-litigation and judicial recovery of their debts, cooperating in this area with court bailiffs from all over the country. He participated in creating capital companies under Polish law. He specializes primarily in civil and commercial law.

Weronika Szlązak

She graduated in law at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Opole University defending her master thesis on the obligation of professional secrecy by a doctor.

During her master studies she was awarded the rector scholarship for best students and general academic achievements. She participated in numerous trainings and conferences in the field of civil, ecomonic and medical law. She completed postgraduate studies in "Medical Law and Bioethisc" at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.

She has gained her professional experience during internships in Opole law offices and in the District Public Prosecutor's Office as well.

Associated with the office since 2020. Provides support in the field of ongoing customer service. In her daily work, she deals with civil, tax and commercial law. She also participates in debt collection procedure and litigation.

Barbara Łodzińska

In our Law Firm operates as the office manager.

Barbara Łodzińska graduated at Department of Economy of University of Opole. Associated with the Firm since 2000.

Deals with the administration and organization of the office. Performs tasks such as keeping the calendar of meetings with the Clients and of the judicial hearings. Successfully sees to the deadlines, date of hearings and the circulation of documentation. Apart from serving the Guests and Clients of the Firm, Barbara Łodzińska is responsible for the contacts with the courts, debts collectors and the other authorities. She is also engaged in the secretarial services, handling of office devices and all duties regarding the record and document workflow, both internal and external. Updates database in order to ensure the appropriate access and flow of the information. Through proper recording of incoming and outgoing mail and segregation of the e-mail, makes sure that every case is handled duly and on time. Taking care of workplace and monitoring the stock of office, hygienic and food supplies, maintains the high level of the office's image. Due the wide range of the activities, is an invaluable support for legal counsels and Clients and is an integral part of our Firm.
